Stabbing: What Happened To Al Eschbach? Health Update

Al Eschbach seems to be doing fine healthwise at the moment.

Nonetheless, there are plenty of rumors suggesting that he got stabbed. But, the official confirmation isn’t here yet. Hence, they don’t hold much value at the moment.

Probably, Al’s aging is creating some health problems. However, the only thing related to his health issue came in 2009 as he was legally blind in his right eye. His eyesight got better after the seven surgeries he had the previous year.

His eye problems started on a Dubia trip in June. To repair a detached retina of his right eye, he underwent surgery after his return. Then again, on a flight to Bangkok, his right eye flared up, leading to an emergency surgical procedure.

The tributes continue for the fine folk who play a key role in my journey. The one and only Al ESCHBACH gave me my start in radio; allowing me to sit in for three, full hours – while he vacationed in Europe. I’m forever grateful to this Oklahoma Sports Broadcasting Hall-of-Famer. pic.twitter.com/D8leHYwxIh
